Underground Cistern, also known as the Basilica Cistern, is the largest of several hundred ancient cisterns that lie beneath the city of Istanbul. Do you remember the old James Bond movie From Russia With Love where Bond is rowing in a small boat through a forest of marble columns? The scene was filmed in Underground Cistern.
Old Hippodrom, was a circus that was the sporting and social centre of Constantinople, capital of the Byzantine Empire. It was built in 200 ad. Hippodrome was lined once with large impressive columns. Still we can see three of them; Egyptian Obelisk, the Spiral Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine Porphyrogenitus.
Patriarchate,The Church of Constantinople is traditionally regarded as being founded by St. Andrew, the “first-called” of the Apostles.When Constantinople became the capital of the Ottoman Empire in 1453, the Ecumenical Patriarch (at the time, Gennadius II) was recognized as Ethnarch of the Orthodox peoples.It serves in Fener from 1500 till today

Chora Church,was originally built as part of a monastery complex outside the walls of Constantinople,Chora, referring to its location originally outside of the walls, became the shortened name of the church.when Theodosius II built his formidable land walls in 413–414, the church became incorporated within the city's defences, but retained the name Chora.
